Antique Black Forest Walnut Heavily Carved Parlor Chairs, A Pair, c. Late 19th Century- Pairs Nicely with Many Traditional & Eclectic Interior Styles- Crafted of Solid Walnut with a Heavily Aged Satin Finish - Matching Pair - Perfect for Staging- Exceptionally Detailed Backrests, Displaying Foliage Vines & Acorn Motifs- Professionally Reupholstered Cushioned Seats in Pebbled Black Vinyl- Contrasting Deco Nail Head Seat Boarder- Quaint Cabriole Legs - Nicely Styled- Unsigned or MarkedCondition:This Pair of Black Forest Chairs were exceptionally well made. Each of the Chairs were hand carved by the same maker, but is unidentified. The finish on each chair shows a deep red hue and is heavily aged - It shows wonderful character. The seats were professionally reupholstered in a very high quality pebbled vinyl - It's durable, offers excellent longevity and easy to maintain. The original Hog Hair fill was replaced with foam. The chair does show wear and signs of previous repairs from age, although each chair is very solid.Overall Dimensions:Each: 17" wide x 39.5" tall x 18" deepFloor to Seat: 15"Age:c.
