this is a great size 49x35 top and 29 inchs tall, suitable for many things ! great dining type table even a desk , there is a very ear;ly surface on it , I think its a greyish color , could be original not sure, sheraton period, the table is solid, the top is original to this piece as far as we can tell the battons are dovetailed into the top , the only thing replaced is the pins for the top are just wood dowels which work just fine ! this was from a local collection , the collector was an expert on local history and had a documented collection of pieces from lancaster county . this is a wonderful affordable piece of furniture .
