Straight out of an old pharmacy in northern Vermont , this antique oak medicine cabinet once held elixirs and healing medicines to be sold . The pharmacy has since been shut down but this beautiful piece still holds on to stories to be told . I originally bought this oak medicine cabinet to use in my Apothecary Shop to hold and display herbs but I ran out of room in my little store so I am now looking for a new forever home for this beautiful piece . This medicine cabinet can be hung or free standing on a shelf or counter . It is 20.5 in high 13.5 in wide 6.75 in deep . It has 3 shelves . There is a key but I have never been able to turn the lock to lock it and I didn’t want to break the lock . Someone who knows keys and locks may know more about the lock but for now the key displays well as it is . The cabinet has been slightly modified with a magnet latch to keep it closed . ( doesn’t take away from its antique appearance ) This cabinet more than likely originally sat on a shelf and someone added two wall hangers in the back . There are also 2 screw holes in the back for hanging . I believe this medicine cabinet is from the early 1900’s or maybe older and made of oak . It is in very good vintage condition and would make a beautiful antique addition to any home or store .
