This is an antique primitive chicken crate.Super well made-- most likely from the 1880's to very early 1930s.Made by R.C. Aylor and Sons, with original maker's mark noticeable on some of the boards.Measures approx 35 x 24 x 12 inches.Excellent condition with rustic charm, original patina and structure ... with no modifications that I could find to it. There are many wonderful things you might utilize this for ... including decoration, a table base, storage solutions ... even it's original use of carrying your valued nasty to the Farm Market or State Fair.
