Please read this listing very carefully. All sales final. * Relisting. Winner didn’t pay/cancelled last auction Used (1st owner) Silver MacBook Pro 15 inch Retina Late 2013 A1398. Serial # C02MLC7MFD57. Intel Core i7 4th Gen processor 2.30 GHz and an NVIDIA GeForce GT 750M GPU. 16GB RAM. Upgraded the SSD from 512Gb to a Samsung SSD 970 EVO 1TB (currently valued at ($100-140) The SSD uses the Sintech NGFF M.2 nVME SSD Adapter Card. It’s included and already installed. Operating System is Big Sur 11.7.2. Fresh install. It will load to welcome screen for you to setup your own users. I don’t believe you can upgrade past Big Sur. Battery life isn’t great on its own (can be used for 1-2 hours at a time without plugging in), and can be upgraded yourself by buying a kit and watching tutorials online. Works best when left plugged in. Outdated, but still very functional. I upgraded this last year for my son to use for school work, very minor gaming, photo storage, online chatting/FaceTime and online browsing. Keypad and touch pad (clicks work) function good. No sticky keys. Cosmetically looks good. Never been dropped, no corner dents. No visible scratches on top, a couple small scratches on bottom. Very clean. Screen looks used but no cracks, and pretty clear. Some smear like spots around edges and on right side, but does not affect viewing. Not sure how to describe it. Might be a cleaning thing. Side HDMI input is loose, but works. We’ve been using an Amazon Basics HDMI adapter, which is included in this auction. Apple 85W MagSafe 2Power Adapter/Charger (MD506LL/A) is original Apple and almost brand new and includes the original box. Currently valued at $80-100. Serial # C0612337JEPHIRTAHLast year, I was able to successfully use Sonnet eGPU Breakaway Puck Radeon RX 5500 XT (NOT INCLUDED) with some hacks for some better graphics, gaming and improved FPS (fyi) if someone’s into that. Can’t confirm current compatibility for that. You can buy for the parts, or use it if you don’t need the newer software and operating systems. Sold as is. No refunds or exchanges.
