This is a great, really safe bed that everybody including our child has actually enjoyed! Baby crib was initially about $500 from Babies R Us. Kid rail which is consisted of was an extra $100 with shipping. A $600 value! The Serta mattress is also included and still in good condition for immediate use with mattress guard/cover. Pictures show it put together as both crib (mattress height is adjustable from newborn height to standing height) and as kid bed (to supply your kid simple climb-in access).
