This Bach 37 trumpet serial no. ( 11997) Brings trumpet to approximately the year (s) 1952/53. This is a custom made trumpet ,starting with the New York valve Block we took the bell and the tubing off of a 37 Strad which had a bad valve block and simply swapped everything over to the New York block except the first valve tubing making it like a step bore , amazingly enough it turned out better than we ever expected! The upper register is extremely easy to execute. The sound in the middle and lower is just unbelievable. I actually love this trumpet But how many trumpets do I need ! It comes with a MV 3C gold plated top. Seems to be a nice combination, so if you can play that size diameter this would be great for you! However any mouthpiece will work just fine especially with the open no. #7 New York lead pipe we installed on it. It certainly is quite different with customized ideas and lots of fun to play ! So we why spend money on a TR200 when you could have the real deal , notice the measurements and brass valve guides with original Bach strad springs . Completely gone over has zero leaks But please know what you are buying because on customization trumpets there are no returns ( however you will definitely love it as I do ) free shipping as well as international shipping is available!
