The flyleaf of this book states: "To hundreds of thousands of Philadelphians, Alfred Bendiner was understood for his wonderful remarks. Leading architect, artist, raconteur, nowhere was his originality of line and expression more evident than in the series of drawings and text that he published regular in the Philadelphia Bulletin Magazine." Many of the sketches appeared initially in the Bulletin. This 1964 edition, released by A.S. Barnes and Co., Inc., in New York and by Thomas Yoseloff Ltd in London. I have 2 copies, one with a dust coat in great condition. One copy has an engraving on the first page. These images are: 2 covers, Academy of Music, Devon Horse Show, Reading Terminal and the inscription mentioned above. Both books are in great condition.* 163 pages* 6.8 x 4.2 x 1 inches* 11.8 ounces
