Up for sale is a Canon EOS D60 18MP DSLRcamera with 3 Canon lenses, a new Metz flash, 2 camera bags (Canon 200DG and a Loweprocamera holster), 2 batteries, a charger, 4 AArechargeable batteries for the flash, 2 SD cards (16 and 32GB), USB andHDMI cables, and a DVD with manuals and Canon software. EVERYTHING WORKS 100% The shutter count on the camera is only3023! Lenses include a CanonEF-s 17-85mm f/4-5.6 IS USM, and a Canon EF-s 55-250mm f/4-5.6IS, and a Canon EF 50mm f/1.8 Metal Mount. The lensesare all in EXCELLENT condition; a tiny bit of dust, no fungus and no scratches. The Metz Mecablitz 44af-1 flash (made in Germany) is a great alternative to the Canon 430EX,covering all the normal speedlight functions and a few unique to Metz. It’s inthe original box and has only been used a few times. Included is a diffuser anda set of rechargeable AA batteries. Also included is anice Canon 200DG camera bag for the whole outfit, and a smaller bag for justthe camera and lens. There are 2 UV filters, 2 batteries, a charger, 2 SD cards(32GB and 64GB micro SD with adapter), USB and HDMI cables, and a CD with manualsand Canon photo editing software. This was my owncamera outfit for a few years. It got caught between an older DSLR that Ireally loved and a new DSLR that had more bells and whistles. It sort of gotshuffled into the background. It isn’t getting any use these days, so it’sgoing to a new home. The Canon D60 is areally good camera, and with the EF-S 17-85mm f/4-5.6 IS lens, you’ve got agreat walk-around setup. Add in the Metz flash, the Canon EF 50mm f/1.8 and CanonEF-S 55-250mm f/4-5.6 lenses and you’ve got most situations covered. The cameraitself is very versatile, with quite a number of automatic modes that takegreat pictures. Full manual controls are available as you learn more. Thebright, high resolution, fully articulated LCD screen and excellent viewfindermake it easy to compose pictures and Canon’s excellent autofocus system isquick and accurate. Thiscamera also takes Full HD videos. The onboard microphone is mono, but there isa jack to connect an external stereo microphone. The video capture aspect ofthis camera isn’t great but it’s very reliable; this is one area where newercameras do a bit better. I’ve had good luck using an EF-s 24mm f/2.8 STM lensand an external stereo microphone for meetings and banquet type events. The videoautofocus can be slow in low light, but it does get there. This camera can consistentlycapture beautiful images that print beautifully at 16x20, and I’ve also gotten lotsof 20x24 prints that came out really nicely. This is the perfectcamera outfit for someone on a budget who wants to move up to “serious”photography. It’s a good deal at this price; individually, this camera andthese accessories would cost about 30% more, even on eBay. Everything you’llneed to get started right away is included, and everything works well together.This outfit will take wonderful pictures at a reasonable price. The only thingI’d add is a good tripod. A lot of professional photographers start with lessequipment. There are lots of great guidebooks out there; “EOS 60D for Dummies”and Dave Busch’s 60D Guide are both good and available used for $6 or $7.
