Up for auctionis an CG Conn 4H Tenor Trombone, Elkhart Model – NO RESERVESerial #378408 –Estimated 1948 Production Made in Elkhart, INUsed as iscondition.We are sellingthis in the as is playable condition.The bell wasbadly dented and you can see where the bottom part of the bell and tube that issoldered to the receiver were dented/creased. We believe thishas original lacquer as you can feel the engraved edges. The finish is dark and discolored.The main handslide is dent free and has a nice smooth action. There is no plating wear on the chromestocking and it has a nice popping compression. The top grip metal is chrome plated. Brassconstruction with Nickel trimLacquered finish – looks original with about 10% wear7” engraved bellNew ownershould give this a good cleaning and play away!This includes aConn 3A mouthpiece that appears to be original.The SKB case isfunctional but all the feet are busted out and gone.
