Chinese origin, late 1800’s-early 1900’s. Carved of beautiful and extremely rare Zitan wood.Ornately carved and worked in intricate details. Dragons make up the outline of the chair, with the necks and faces making up the arms and hand-rests. Lilies flower in the middle of the two dragon tails, with a small bird. The dragon faces hold orbs, and the scales are carved in exquisite detail. Even the back of the chair is decorated with scrolling patterns.Amazing antique, very nice collectors item.
