Circa 1910 postcard mounted on leather. Printed below the mountain scene are the words: Seattle Greetings. It gets harder to read with passing years. The date can no longer be read. This hung on the bedroom wall of a young boy in our family until 1919, after he'd left for WW1, and the home was sold.Vintage leather should not be handled too much. Oils from your hands can do damage. We used white gloves when working with leather Indian artifacts. Our post card was stored near a leak, started during an ice storm.. The darker spots on the leather may be from drops of water from the leak, before we discovered it.. The antique postcard itself is in nice condition.
