Conn 24H Trombone Artist 1949 Great Player! Elkhardt Medium Bore Large Sound VTGPlaying - Plays great. Very responsive. Main slide is very good. There is a small bit of stocking wear see photos. Very normal for a horn this age. The wear has minimal effect on slide action. Tuning slide moves well. Sound - Sounds Good. Has a nice warm sound. Sounds bigger then expected. Serial Number - 384017 This places it as made in 1949 in Elkhardt when Conn made some of the best horns ever. Finish - Looks good. Waxed raw brass with a bit of patina. A few small dings remain. The worst are shown in photos. Serviced - Horn has been completely serviced including chemical cleaning, hand-washing and slide polishing. Springs and corks have been replaced as needed. Slide has been aligned. Play tested to ensure playability. Case - A Pro-Tec in excellen used condition is included. Mouthpiece - Includes an Olds 3 mouthpiece in good condition. It seems to fit and play well on the horn. Returns: We know it's hard to buy on-line so returns are accepted. I'm one of the few instrument sellers that takes returns.
