It comes with SLA 36V high capacity batteries for long range and efficiency in a plug and play battery. The Tricruiser offers a stable, smooth ride with traditional bicycle styling. The extended range and extra-large cargo basket make trips to the store, picnics, and commuting to campus or work a delight. Based on customer feedback, Currie has upgraded the motor on the Tricruiser to provide higher low-end torque. This upgrade allows for better hill climbing, higher battery efficiency, and improved product safety by reducing the top speed from 15mph to 12mph. bought this with work in mind but unfortunate circumstances have changed those plans.
