This brand name brand-new CD is signed by all four member of the band Desperate HeroTate Music Group Recording ArtistsBirmingham's Original Hard Rock Band Four piece band with difficult attacking original music and popular cover tunesBased out of Birmingham, AlabamaDESPERATE HERO came together late in 2012 so with exactly what they have currently music smart, you understand these are experienced guys and looking much deeper they are. They have music with a message too. "Hero" is a song about written to bring awareness to missing out on youngsters and it is a terrific song. It opens with a short full band chorus sans the music which kicks in with an older school Rock sound and with tight melodic work by this 3 piece outfit. The band provides GODSMACK as an impact and you can hear that on "Chapter 7" with some hints of FIVE FINGER DEATH PUNCH albeit in a lighter sounding design that is their own. Cool tune with some tight work by the band, some flirting with a roar occasionally (FIVE FINGER DEATH PUNCH reference) and a good lead by guitar player Troy Reid. Reid and Umstead had an effective run with a regional Prog band prior to them being signed up with by Berg so that has a lot to do with the tight riff work and timing modifications, they work flawlessly together and Berg has some significant skills on the skins. These individuals are lifers when it comes to playing their instruments with breaks right here and there as all of us do, however together they make a powerful wall of sound and tune. If the chance comes around, I would be very interested in seeing them live. Great style, terrific musicianship, songs with a message and 50 % of sales go to the charity Love Hope Strength. Exactly what else exists to say? They rock and they are excellent people. They are the present # 1 on the ReverbNation charts in Pelham, Alabama for Metal / Hard Rock / Rock bands.
