I believe this painting dates from the early 1900's based upon the classic Mission Oak frame that it is in!! The painting is in MINT condition framed under glass and I believe it is done on particle board because of the overall weight!! There is no signature visible but there may be something on the back or not visible on the border covered by the frame!! There are two notes on the back regarding its moving from 1500 19th Street to 1506 16th Street on May 7, 1948, and moving from there on October 12, 1956, to an illegible destination!! I have no idea what city those addresses relate to!! IF it does not sell this auction I may open up the back to see if there is any further information and then relist it!! SO this is a gamble in that it could be by a known artist or it could be just a very nice piece of Americana art in a terrific antique frame!! NOTE: Quoted shipping charges are based on the farthest zone from me, so if you live in closer proximity to Greensboro, NC, the cost will go down!!
