My parents worked & lived in Kobe, Japan, from 1949 up until 1970. I was born there in 1950. During their extended time there, my mom sought and gathered Japanese antiques of all sorts from Imari & related porcelain products to assorted brass(?) statuaries & figurines and even Japanese stamps. Both my moms and dads have actually been deceased for over 25 years, I have actually kept their acquisitions embellishing our house long enough and it's time to pass them on to others who might value some genuine vintage Japanese antiques as opposed to the mob of mass produced oriental antiques which have been imported and sold in shops! I do not have a List with prices of all the products we have nor even the knowledge to capably recognize which product is from exactly what decade, century or period (i.e. Meiji duration). Over the lots of years, I have gotten opinions from individuals with obvious expertise on which I am somewhat relying for my expertise. However, hopefully the several images will offer you a basic idea of the degree of things I have for sale? I am not intending to provide these away nor sell them always inexpensively so please respond only if you have a major interest in some of these products so we don't waste each other's time. I am making plans to offer these things to an acknowledged dealer in Japanese antiques however believed that some of my next-door neighbors in this County may appreciate a very first shot before the prices double or triple in the hands of a dealership!
