"THIS IS NOT FOR EVERYONE". The cd is Brain Salad Surgery. And it is not in any shape manner or form a normal cd. This is what's known as a "test pressing", or "white label." Just 6 are made at any given time and as hard as I've looked (for many years now), the others are nowhere to be seen or found. I did handle to find one U.K. pushing for the European release. This is the United States release & was pushed right here in Pennsylvania. It is pushed prior to automation and release to the public, in order to examine the audio quality of moving the original recording tapes to the vinyl. Press date is Oct. 26, 1973. Of note: Test pressings seldom, if ever, included covers, liner notes, photos or anything else you 'd expect to come with a customer bought vinyl cd since there is no industrial requirement for it. The very same holds true for this. I am the sole initial owner & it was offered to me in December of 1973 at the old Manticore Offices (ELP's record label at the time) on East 61 St., in NYC as a Christmas present. As I said, this is not for simply anyone - ya actually have to be hard core and desire this in your collection. I do not believe you can come any closer to one-of-a-kind, around the world as this.
