Three Framed Carved Teak Panels !!! For 26 years I was blessed with the good luck of working in United States embassies worldwide. As agents of the U.S., we were expected to keep a tastefully embellished house with a welcoming environment and to amuse pals from the host country and from other embassies, along with American coworkers. At some posts this might include our own Ambassador or an Ambassador from another country. Throughout the 14 years I invested in Asia, I satisfied my Filipino partner and together we delighted in shopping for beautiful furnishings, rugs, paintings and porcelain to decorate our house. In 1992 we went back to South Texas, where we have enjoyed using and showing all our treasures. To be closer to family, we reluctantly have decided to offer our house and some of our possessions. This move will require a downsizing, as we will certainly be going from a large house into an apartment in a various state. With numerous products from China, knowing the provenance of the product is imperative. All items offered for sale have actually been in our possession for at least 22 years, and some as numerous as 35 years. These are genuine Asian products, a few of which are no more available. All Asian products have been validated about approximate age and value by a licensed appraiser and we have followed her insight in pricing the products.
