francisco navarro 2012 “smallman” premium guitar; cocobolo with cedar top. Guitar is in excellent playing condition and in very good overall condition for a used guitar. For those who have always wanted an Australian style classical guitar for its volume and sustain but cannot afford the 10k+ for the real thing, this is a great alternative. It is a handmade copy of a Smallman by the Mexican luthier Francisco Navarro (the original; many new guitars are now by his son).Top: CedarBack and Sides: CocoboloScale Length: 650mmNut Width: 52mmFinish: French PolishCountry: MexicoThe exact same year and model guitar was listed new by Guitar Salon International for $5,499. There is also a nick on the side of the neck near where it joins the body of the guitar. I have made sure to post photographs showing the damaged areas in close up, but otherwise you can see the condition is very good. I have also posted a photo of the photographs supplied by Navarro showing the bracing of the soundboard and the guitar under construction.The guitar comes with a solid guitar case which is in fair condition. It has one gouge in it that has been repaired with tape. The case is provided “as is.” It works well but is obviously a little damaged. See photos.I purchased this guitar on reverb about three years ago for $3500 so the listing price is very fair.
