Condition: GreatSlide: 9.5/10Price: $1,500 Comes with original case This is a "frankenbone" 88H. The bell is from I assume 80's due to the condition of the lacquer and the slide is new from the past 7 years. I do not see serial numbers on the horn but the slide has B 9807 on the hand braces and S 4747 on the leadpipe barrel. The horn has great resonance and response. The bell on it is one of the best bells that I have played on a large bore horn. There are some minor dings on the valve tubing and cosmetic wear throughout the horn. Most noticeable cosmetic wear is on the bell where sections of lacquer peeled off. Case is in 9/10 condition. I just got the valve re-aligned and it plays like new. Valve uses string system, not linkage. The slide was acquired within the past year from BrassArk. I am selling this horn because I'm looking to find something that's a little bigger than a 88H.
