Here's how you can do it so that she has a quality bike to ride, and you don't have to invest a fortune. And the finest part? After she's grown out of the bike, you can offer it at exactly what you got it for! The 16" part describes the wheel size - the real size of the bike has to do with 11" - measured from the middle of the bottom bracket to the top of the seat tube. This about fits a youngster from about 4'0" to about 4'6". It is a six-speed bike, with indexed Shimano moving. In preparation for the sale, I replaced the brake and shifter cable televisions and housings, and lubed the chain and rear derailleur. I will be pleased to provide the bike anywhere in the Moscow-Pullman area as part of the sale. Or we can satisfy somewhere and arrange to let your child test-ride the bike (consisting of adjusting the saddle and stem height.). Yes, this bike is used, and has seen its share of bumps, but it functions well, and have given my daughter years of excellent service.
