Offered for sale here is a GORGEOUS, black, Classic Nikon FE2 SLR camera ensemble. The FE2 is the electronic brother to the highly popular, Nikon FM2n mechanical model SLR. The Nikon FE2 also offered the World's First 1/250 of a second flash synchronization speed. This FE2 also features the titanium shutter with lighter, etched and modified honeycomb-pattern titanium shutter curtains. This new shutter not only provides shutter speeds to 1/4000 of a second, it greatly reduces shutter bounce which cases blurred images. This shutter technology was latter used for the Nikon FA and on the legendary Nikon FM2n. The Nikon FE2 is one of the very finest manual focus SLR cameras ever produced!THIS BEAUTIFUL NIKON FE2 SLR MEGA OUTFIT INCLUDES: *A beautiful, Black, Nikon FE2 modern classic camera that bears serial number:2148171. This fine specimen has a date code that indicates that it was manufactured in March 1987, the last year of production for this model. The Nikon FE2 is an advanced semi-professional, 35 mm film, single-lens reflex (SLR) camera that is loaded with features while placing the photographer in control.This beautiful, black, FE2 camera body comes fully accessorized. Included are: a brilliant red, soft release button; locate the trigger faster and execute your shots faster and more smoothly!! A genuine, screw-in, Nikon PC Sync terminal cap. A pair (2) of black leather, camera body protectors, with tri-rings on the camera strap lugs. A "Nikon" BF-1 Body Cap, Two (2) working, LR-44 1.5 volt alkaline batteries. A "Nikon" BS-1 hot shoe cover. It has an interchangeable, Nikon TYPE E (E2): Matte/Fresnel with focusing spot and grid, in the camera body. This screen has a Matte/Fresnel field with central 3mm-diameter fine-ground matte focusing spot and etched grid. The 12mm-diamter reference circle corresponds to the area of center-weighted TTL exposure measurement. Rated excellent with all lenses, this screen proves especially good for exacting reproduction work, such as copying, as well as for architectural photography with PC-Nikkor lenses. Printed January 1983 by Nippon Kogaku K.K. Excellent condition; flat and smooth, no markings, "dog ears", etc.*A new/old stock, (still with unopened, original packaging), comfortable, 1 3/8" wide, "Nikon", NS-1 woven-web, adjustable camera strap. This strap has probably the most tasteful graphics of all of the many Nikon straps. It has a gray background with a thin red line running through it. The edges of the strap are bordered with narrow black lines. The "Nikon" logo is embroidered in with bold, bright, letters one time/centered. Slip resistant backing, black Poly-carbonate buckles and strap retainers to prevent scratching the camera body. Double-stitched, black leather ends. *A Nikon MC-10 Remote Trigger Shutter Release; the "10" indicate its length, 10 feet. It can be used on the Motor Drive MD-2, MD-3, MD-4, MD-15, and the included, MD-12. It offers remote control operation up to 3 meters (10 feet) away from the camera via a manual, trigger switch. The MC-10 is also for use with the Nikon N70, FM2, FE2 & FM3A(with MD-12). *A FAST, 50mm F/1.4 Ai Nikkor normal lens that bears serial number: 4317673. It was manufactured circa 1987. It features the beautiful, Nikon NIC ((Nikon Integrated Coatings) optical coatings. It has a Fully Auto diaphragm, 2.5" x 1.9" in size and a minimum focus of 17.7" or 0.45 meter. It weighs 9 ounces. It is Nikon Product Number: 1133.*A Nikon "Nikkor" 135mm F/3.5 Ai telephoto lens that bears serial number: 220699. This lens was manufactured circa 1978. It comes with a vintage, Nikon 52mm snap-on front lens cap, a Nikon LF-1 rear lens cap, a Nikon 52mm L1A screw-in filter, black rim and a Nikon CL-8 black, hard, lens case. The hand strap has been repaired. It has a built-in, retractable, lens hood.* A boxed, "Nikon ML-1 Modulite Remote Control Set!" This complete set is fully operative and in EXCELLENT CONDITION!! It comes with its original, instruction manual, its remote control socket cap and eight (8), 1.5 volt, working alkaline batteries. *A GORGEOUS, boxed, NEW/OLD STOCK, Vivitar Series 1 70-210MM F/3.5 Macro Zoom lens ensemble, that bears serial number: 22947298. It is in a fixed, Nikon AI bayonet. This particular lens was manufactured during the 3rd week of November 1979. It comes in its original, Series 1 box with the vintage graphics of that era. It still has its gold, Japanese, JMDC inspection sticker and a black and red, band around its focusing grip with info, "Before You Use Your Lens......." (in 4 languages). I plucked this treasure out of a long-time closed, camera shop many moons ago.This is the first edition of this legendary zoom lens and it was designed by the famous optical designer, Ellis Betensky and it was built by Kiron of Tokyo, Japan for Vivitar. It was first introduced in 1975. It is a professional caliber lens, with a 1:2 macro feature built into it. It was the first zoom, designed with the aid of computers, that truly rivaled the OEM lenses of the time.Included with this zoom lens package are:*Its original, "Vivitar Series 1" metal, 67mm, slip-on, front lens cap and its original, bayonet locking rear lens cap. *Its dedicated, new/old stock, "Vivitar Series 1", collapsible, rubber, clamp-on, lens hood. It is Vivitar stock No. 031-XXXX. It comes in its original, Series 1 factory box.*Six (6), 67mm filters, for the Series 1 zoom lens, they are: *A set of Tiffen 67mm. close-up filters; +1,+2, and a +4. *A Tiffen 67mm, special effects, 4pt/2mm, Star/Grid Filter that creates multiple points of light, or "stars," streaking outward from a central light source. This special effects filter comes in a rotating mount for critical placement of the star effect. Wedding photographers will especially appreciate the value of this filter. This is another rotating mount that adjusts to your preferences.These fine filters are packed into a black, nylon, "Tiffen" filter wallet.This beautiful, black, Nikon FE2 SLR, its lenses, its MD-12 motor drive, the boxed, Nikon ML-1 remote and all of the other many included accessories are in EXCELLENT CONDITION optically, mechanically, electronically and cosmetically!!! Everything appears to be operational are very light signs of use and age. (See pictures). The camera's top cover has some edge brassing with a small indent. The lenses are in good shape! Their beautiful optical glass is free of scratches, cleaning marks, separation, etc. The Nikon NIC Multi-Coated optical surfaces of the lenses are clean. This is very nice looking gear with beautiful cosmetics and smooth actions. There may be some of the usual fine specks of dust in the lens, but not enough to affect the contrast. to be loaded with your favorite film and set to help you with your artistic creativity!!This superb, equipment features the highest quality design and engineering of Nikon at their best. Solidly built with mostly an all metal body, lens mount and barrel construction. They were manufactured in Japan using the world's finest optical glass for great color rendition. The accessories in this ensemble are a great value by themselves. You will not be disappointed with your decision to purchase this very high quality photographic ensemble. set!
