Grand Seiko SLGH009, Heritage Collection Limited Edition, stainless steel, with stainless steel bracelet, in original Grand Seiko box with paper work. Blue dial, 40mm diameter not including the crown. The watch is mint condition in box with all paperwork. The bracelet can fit a wrist of 7.5 inches with two additional links. The watch has a movement of 9SA2 that has 47 jewels.Grand Seiko’s SLGH009 is a 2022 Limited Edition of 550 marking the 55th anniversary of the 44GS and is part of the Heritage Collection. It is housed in a 40mm stainless steel case that is a 11.7mm and 47.2mm lug to lug, with a box shaped sapphire crystal and screw down crown providing 100m of water resistance. The watch is powered by one of Grand Seiko’s best and newest automatic movements, the Caliber 9SA5, incorporating a free-sprung balance and twin barrels providing 80 hours of power reserve. This caliber is a high beat movement, beating at 10 beats per second (or 36,000 per hour) with precision of +5 / -3 seconds per day, and is visible behind a sapphire case back marked with the Limited Edition number.Grand Seiko is known for intricate dials and incredible casework utilizing Zaratsu polishing to create a mirror finish. This watch also marks the first use of “Ever-Brilliant Steel”, an alloy that features greater corrosion resistance than what is typically used in the watch industry, and visually showcasing a brilliant white hue that enhances the beauty of this fine timepiece. The deep blue dial has a deeply etched pattern representing the elliptical orbit of the stars as they move across the heavens, capturing the serene passage of celestial time. A gold seconds hand and “GS” logo add further visual interest. This Grand Seiko comes on a five-link polished and satin finished bracelet with a folding clasp and two half links to finely adjust the fit.I will give 5 days inspection time.
