Holton ST306 MF Horn Silver Trumpet - Ready to Play!

Holton ST306 MF Horn silver trumpet. Maynard Ferguson designed 9 different trumpets for Holton back in the 1970s. I think this one is from the 1990s. It does not have the medallion on the tuning slide brace that the earlier ones had. This model was very similar to the ST302 (.468 bore) but with T101 valves. This one is in very good condition and has just been serviced. Mechanically it's excellent. Valves have very good compression. There are a few minor dings on the horn, but the big negative is the silver plating is not in very great shape. No signs of red rot or any serious issues. It's just cosmetic. So this is not in "collector condition", but it is in very good playing condition. In the second photo there's a generic megatone style 7C mouthpiece. That does not come with this trumpet. I tried it out and it's a horrible mouthpiece. So instead I'm including a Jupiter 7C mouthpiece (shown in the next to last picture). Also comes with the original Holton two-handle case. The case has some wear and tear on it, but it's solid.Ready to play!
