When rolled perpendicular I will roll the entire barrel. This will help with the trampoline effect; it also enlarges the sweet spot. I will then roll it parallel, rolling just the sweet spot. Doing this will completely break in your bat, as if you put 700-800 hits on it. Just without taking all that bp!
