Made in 1977. This amp I found in extremely bad shape. There was a 30 amp fuse where the.5 amp HT fuse must have been. It had actually toasted the power transformer. I replaced the power transformer and transformed it to EL34's. These are the Russian Electro Harmonics tubes that have the sound everyone suches as. The original cabinet was gone, and I built this one by hand. It's doned with a coat of linseed oil. The cabinet is solid 3/4 inch want with hand cut dovetail joints. The parts are signed up with together without the use of nails or screws since of the high quality workmanship. It's very solid, and the joints are glued with the greatest quality wood glue. The semi closed back and speaker baffles are 7 ply, 3/4 inch birch, The 4 12 inch speakers include 2 Celestion G12T-75's and 2 Eminence Legends. The Celestion's stemmed from a newer Marshall cabinet and they are the Chinese designs. The Eminence speakers are older American models, circa 2000. All four speakers are in exceptional condition and you have the alternative of running either just 2 or all 4 speakers. The amp head has actually been a little modified to accept the EL34's and maintains that classic Marshall tone. This device is easily moveable, as it rolls on locking caster wheels.
