This is a gorgeous horn and in excellent condition for its age. It's difficult to say exactly the year of this horn since I can't find another like it anywhere I have looked. The serial number seems to indicate 1961.The slide has no dings and no wear through. Also I can remove the outer casing without any springing.This has had a chem clean and surprisingly for its age what came out was very minimal and not dark like many older horns would be.The bore measurement of the inner slide is .525.At the top of the bell tuning slide there is some wear and a tiny dent. Also there is some wear on the outer slide where it meets the receptacle.I have tried to document everything in pics as well as undersell the horn so that whoever buys it will be amazed at how great this is.The case is very musty but a good quality one worth saving. I will leave that for the buyer but the horn will be wrapped in plastic since it has been cleaned.
