A minimum of 100 years of ages, and still very usable, this antique food warmer may have even been used in a magnificent house (like Downton Abbey). In those huge houses, needing to carry hot food some range might suggest that it showed up cold. The in of the warmer is Meissen Blue Onion patterned porcelain (with a divider to make 2 areas) and the base and lid are Silverplated metal. There are 2 manages for lugging and a spout with a screw-on cap to put hot water in (that is the means the food is kept hot).This is an uncommon survivor in this condition.
