We have two large beautiful, difficult to find, mill stones from a local Grist Mill. They come from the Chowan Mill Company, previously of Como, NC. We had huge plans for these stones, but could want to part with them. These stones are really good and well defined. You can likewise vist the rest of the stones from this mill at Millstones.com. One is 48 inches in diameter by 7 inches thick. It is a runner stone. It has a spanish cross with a metal insert and shaft currently in it (which can be eliminated). This stone is cracked however is missing no parts, can be signed up with back together or placed in the ground in 2 different locations. The weight is somewhere between 1200-1500 lbs. We are asking $500 for this one. The other is much larger. It is roughly 60" across and 12" tall. It has a metal band around it and also has the shaft still connected. It is entirely undamaged and significantly heavier. Guessing, I would state over 2000 #. We are asking $900 for this one. We were going to make an outdoor patio center out of the little one and a fountain out of the larger, however have various other projects ahead of these. Look, take pleasure in and ask any concerns.
