These 3 speakers originally retailed over $3,900, and are in great used condition. Each tower features 2 1" tweeters, one facing the listener, one facing the wall. 2 4.5 " woofers, one facing the listening, one facing the wall. To handle the bass section, a high excursion 8" woofer is employed. They are rated for down to 30hz bass extension, which means they are almost full range (20hz is full range), so a subwoofer isn't needed at all. These are 8ohm rated speakers, that are rated for 90db room efficiency. For those not knowledgable on what this means, those numbers mean generally, any receiver / amplifier, regardless of quality or amount of watts would drive these perfectly fine. A easy going speaker! Not only are these speakers amazing sounding, but they are special. These speakers were designed AND manufactured in Canada. Black finish, in good used condition. Sound quality wise, you couldn't buy a pair of new speakers like these for less than their original price.
