This is the first time this mirror has ever been seen by the public , this was removed from a home where it stood for over 100 years, Whats remarkable is the condition, its outstanding, I cant tell that its ever been worked on , the family who owned it was one of the most prominent in the town . (they owned most of it) so everything was very well cared for and taken care of all these years . its stunning , about 35 inches wide and stands just under 10ft , my measurement is the mirror frame itself is around 105 inches and the base is 16 inches, 10 ft ceilings with work with this, I dont have any pictures currently with it sitting on the base I will try and get one ! , its stunning with the incised gilt and ebonized areas, simply wonderful, the owner said that the family had purchased this in Philadelphia .
