This lovely watercolor of lavender-colored petunias(?) is signed by Grace Van Sciver, a listed 20th century artist from Pennsylvania. She worked in both oil and watercolor. This small painting is framed in a simple wood style, painted a dark gold, with glass. It measures 9.75"H x 7.75"W on the outside. The image size is 8.75" x 6-5/8"W. The watercolor paper looks a little dirty or has foxed a bit but it has an overall soft, aged look that would work well in a cottage, country, farmhouse or similar decor.
