Original mixed media painting by Dennis Carney. Vintage late 1990's-2000 original mixed media painting by Dennis Carney. Large frame art, 28" wide x 46½" x 1". Mat opening (art you can see size) 17¼" x 35½". I framed art professionally for 13 years and it was the frame that I first noticed. I specifically remember a frame representative from Roma moulding coming into the shop I worked at to tell us all about these handcrafted wood frames. They are literally a work of art in themselves. Made in 2000, these frames are covered in sterling silver leaf and washed in many layers of dark wash to give it this antique appearance. This was my favorite frame company to work with. Roma frames are the highest quality Italian mouldings on the market. I pulled away the paper backing to see if I could find a title or maybe even a certificate. No luck but, there was a maker's stamp on the Roma frame. I will replace the backing paper before shipping. Handcovered linen mat, non glare plexiglass. Professionally framed in Palo Alto, California. The art is mixed media on canvas. Signed by American artist, Dennis Carney. Subject is floral and architectural. Mostly in earth tone, khaki gray with colorful flowers in pink, white, yellow, blues and greens. Overall condition is very good. The only thing keeping the condition from being excellent is some minor frame damage, some scratches on face of frame top left and bottom edge of frame finish is worn. Art is in excellent condition!
