Original painting of handsome man signed Victor Olson on board. I believe it is done in oil. On the back of the painting is more info. His name, address and date: 7/61 Victor Olson, Fayerweather Terr. Ffld Conn. I think the Ffld Conn stands for Fairfield Connecticut. This painting is in good vintage condition. No issue, maybe needs a cleaning. The frame shows minor signs of age. It’s kind of distressed looking. The paper backing has some paper rips. There is a wire for hanging. It measures 25 1/4” in height 21” wide.Victor Olson (1924 - 2007): An award winning artist who illustrated many national magazine covers. While still in highschool Olson began exhibiting before going on to attend the Art Career School in New York. Today his dynamic works art part of the following collections: The Smithsonian National Air and Space Museum, the Postal Commemorative Society, President Johnson's and the Louis Armstrong Museum, where they attract critics and collectors alike.
