I have a Marlin, Single Neck, 10 String Pedal Steel Guitar, in good condition, that I need to sell. It has been set up in my recording studio at my home (smokeless) -- and has not been played that much. I have really enjoyed learning on it, but the main reason I purchased it was for the studio. Most steel players that have come over to my studio have brought their own instrument, (they prefer their own tunings, and setups), so this one has not been played that much, except by me. It is, as mentioned above, a Single Neck (10 string); and has 3 feet-pedals, (raising / lowering); and 2 knee-levers for 'raising / lowering' strings, depending on your set up. It also has the 'fine tuners' on the 'end' of the guitar, as most do. The legs and body is chrome, and the face and trim of the guitar are white/red Formica. INCLUDED ALSO IS A HARD SHELL LINED CASE, for the breakdown and storage, OR for transporting the guitar. AS MENTIONED ABOVE, the Marlin Steel has removable legs, and the pedals, braces, and pull-rods all unscrew and fit snug into it's case.The Marlin Company makes a great pedal steel, and i believe that this one is probably 15 years old, and has always been kept in a smokeless and climate controlled atmosphere. I have had 3 different (and knowledgeable) Steel players sit at it, and really was surprised and enjoyed it's tone, could be the pickups, or whatever, but they all liked it.I hate parting with this pedal steel, as I was learning....and will miss it in my setup, but I need the cash flow for other things now. My loss is definitely someone elses gain.I ALSO HAVE A HILTON VOLUME PEDAL, that I purchased seperately. It is the FINEST pedal made for Professionals, by HILTON ELECTRONICS.
