This is the Pioneer AVIC Z2 HDD Navigation and Advanced Multimedia System. This unit is a Z2 upgraded to a Z5. We just got this unit in as a trade in, very low hours, and have done what all our customers want....we hotrod the unit by installing all of Pioneers upgrades most recent upgrades and maps. And Pioneer just came out this month with all new upgrades, version 5, making this unit a Z5. It comes not only with all the upgrades just realeased but also the brand new 2010 maps released this month! Our customers LOVE our upgraded Z units! Like all Z units, this has the hard drive which can rip up to approx 165 CD's.....so you never have to carry those CD's in your car again. Once you install the CD the first time, it rips the music, labels the artist and all the songs and you don't carry the cd again! This unit has been thoroughly tested and is in like new condition. With the new upgrades just released from Pioneer, your navigation has the newest graphics as well. With 2D and 3D navigation, you will actually be able to see the buildings in the areas as your drive though certain metropolitan areas!! And the new upgrades also include " Lane Assist " so while driving down the freeway, your system shows you which lane you need to be in to get off on the ramp you will need to exit the freeway! And much more!For an additional $50, you can have the matching GEX-P10XMT NavTraffic XM unit which not only will allow you to tune in to all the XM stations, but this unit also checks your navigation route and if there is an accident, road work, etc. ahead, your navigation unit will let you know and then give you optional routes to by pass any traffic jams. The GEX-P10XMT sells for $120 alone. And naturally, the unit comes with the Microphone and clip for mounting the Microphone so you can use the Voice Command built into the system for changing volume, radio stations, change cd music or mp3 music, change from radio to cd, dvd to radio, make and receive phone calls....and on and on, all just by using your voice to make commands! The hard drive for this unit has been unlocked and the software is upgraded to Version 5 so all firmware will be upgraded.We also have the latest 2010 Pioneer Maps installed which were released just a couple weeks ago.. This unit is better than even the Z3 because the Z3 only came with Version 3 software. All these upgrades allow for better graphics, sound, Gracenote CDDB Data Base Upgrade, Bluetooth Upgrade, and more. This unit has full function Navigation, plays DVD Movies, MP3 and CD's. It also has AM-FM Radio, Bluetooth, Voice Recognition (Voice Command) and many other functions. There is also a steering wheel remote that can be added to your steering wheel. If you already have volume control in your steering wheel, a wiring harness is available so you can still use your original controls on your steering wheel to raise/lower the volume, etc.These units when first introduced sold for about $3300 and suggested retail is still $2200...but, with a new unit, you don't get the any of the upgrades nor do you get the 2010 mapping. You can navigate using any of 5 different types of screens including "Drivers View" and " 3D". The mapping upgrades allow for actual buildings being shown in large metropolitan areas. The unit also has over 12,000 Points of Interest built in and mulitple ways you can find your destination. You can even enter a phone number and it can find the address. This unit also has " Voice Command ", you just touch 1 button and the unit will ask you what command you want to issue.....make a phone call, change radio station, change tracks, change from video to audio or audio to video, name of the artist you want to play...and much, much more. With this unit, when you insert a CD, it will rip all the music, song names, and all info onto the hard drive...and you will never have to carry the CD in your car again. The hard drive allows for approx 165 CD's worth of music to be stored on the drive! We have sold quite a few of these upgraded units, and our customers love them! The unit is also bypassed, allowing the driver or anyone in the car to change navigation settings or watch a movie while the car is in motion. These units do not come from Pioneer this way because of the laws regarding watching DVDs while driving and we don't recommend that ANY driver watch a DVD while driving. With this purchase you will receive the unit complete with all the upgrades mentioned, bypassed, Power/Speaker wiring harness and 2 RCA harness, GPS antenna, Microphone for Voice Control....SO, WITH THE UPGRADES, 2010 MAPS THAT'S OVER $160 IN EXTRAS!! For an extra $50, we will include the Pioneer Bluetooth Module so you will be able to answer and make calls and speak to your callers without your hands having to leave the steering wheel.
