Hello. Cleaning out continues. Too much gear and no time to use it all, hence the sale. For sale today is one Pioneer Elite PD59 CD PLAYER Stable Platter with their famous Legato Link. I bought it in a condition I am listing it. The unit was powering on, spinning and playing the disc but display is DEAD. All other functions work just fine. Player sounds great. It has Pioneer famous Stable Platter where you insert the disc face down. The fact that display does not work never bothered me since the main purpose I purchased it is just to have a spare laser assembly when I need it for my other Pioneer based player. I also used it extensively to test other gear like amps and pre amps. For my purposes it was great(never needed to scavenge the laser though). Now no longer need it.Once again, the unit works just fine but the display is dead. There multiple scuffles and dings on face plate and chassis. Nothing major though. All control buttons are working fine. The loading mechanism is working fine. The laser reads CDs with no problem. There is NO remote control, but any Pioneer remote should work just fine. I have tried it with the remote from my other Pioneer and it worked just fine.Unit is for 120volt operation. Cord is NOT detachable. No box or manual,and once again, no remote. Unit only. Unit works but sold AS IS and guaranteed NOT DOA! Will be packed securely for shipping. Local pick up is always welcome! (I will refund your shipping after you pay for the item)
