Up for sale is my 2017 Pivot Mach 4, medium size carbon frame in red. Only reason for selling is that I'm moving to an EMTB. Due to osteo arthritis issues in my knees and ankles, the assistance of a motor is helpful the morning after a 15 mile ride. NOTE: This is the older model Mach 4 with 27.5" wheels, not the newer Mach 4 with 29" wheels.Though billed as an XC bike, this is by far the best MTB I've ever owned. The bike is light, fast, nimble, flickable and climbs like a mountain goat. I ride trails in central KY including Capital View in Frankfort, Skull Buster in Georgetown and the trails at Cave Run near Morehead. I also ride trails at Big South Fork, TN and Brown County, IN. This bike handles everything with ease. If you need a rugged downhill rig or the ability to jump/drop 20', this isn't it. But if you want to do about everything else on a featherweight, short wheelbase, this is your ride. Bike weighs Rock gardens at speed? Check! Tight switchbacks? Check! Tricky uphill climbs with roots and rocks? Check! 3' to 5' drops? Original shipping items from Competitive Cyclist included. Also included (not pictured) is a bag with a caliper shem, extra cable, various screws and odds and ends.The bike is boxed and ready to be shipped to your location. Shipping will be UPS ground via Bike Flights. That is, shipping label generated through Bike Flights and bike dropped off at UPS in Frankfort, KY. Cannot send through USPS as box is bigger than their guidelines. Buyer will pay actual shipping. In the event there is any overpayment from shipping, I will send buyer a credit through eBay. It is impossible for me to know exact shipping costs. The UPS shipping costs generated through eBay did not initially appear accurate and eBay's software will not allow me to enter actual box dimensions of 62"X33"X13". As a help, I ran a sample shipping label on bikeflights.com from my location to Salt Lake City, UT and cost was right at $250.00 including insurance. Following confirmation of payment for bike and shipping, I will promptly get bike to UPS, Frankfort, KY and stay in contact regarding drop off time and tracking number.
