My wife got a pair of Red Wing steel-toe boots but her job changed so she never wore them. They were made in the great ol' USA and are size 71/2 EE. They are beautifully developed and in mint display room condition, and are in their original box. They have non-leather uppers and Vibram soles. Heel height is 3/4 inch. There is a tough scuff guard that protects nearly the entire lower part of the uppers. Four steel grommets with tiny pivoting steel rings are riveted to each side, and the top string holder is a double-riveted steel hook. These are the most impressive pair of boots I have ever seen, definitely in terms of being durable and super-durable. They are also means up there in the beauty of their hiking-like design and teal-and-black color scheme. There are no better work boots made: these are the Cadillacs of work boots!
