Check out my other items!Be sure to add me to your favorites list!This listing is for a Reynolds "Emperor" French horn. The serial number is 876071. I'm not sure of it's age. It is a single horn, but I'm not sure if it is in F or Bb as I'm a little outside of my area of expertise (I'm a sax/woodwind guy). If anyone knows for sure, please fill me in! This horn comes in bright nickel plate finish.This instrument is being sold as is for parts or repair. It looks like it might well be playable as is, but I can't guarantee that, so please plan on a trip to the repair shop. It probably at least needs some lubrication. It has dents, dings, pings, and nicks throughout, which I tried to show in the pictures as much as possible. The rim of the bell is in good shape (it has not been bent). I don't see any re-soldered joints. The tuning slides are all free, and actually have very good compression as indicated by an audible pop when pulled out. None of the valve caps are frozen. All of the keys are moving freely and rebounding properly when released. The nickel finish shows minimal wear, and is still bright and shiny. This is a former school horn, and as such it has a school I.D. marking engraved on the bell. It was professionally done, so it doesn't look badThis horn comes in its original plastic shell case. The case is in good condition. The inside shows normal light wear and tear, but it is odor free. There are two bumpers that are slightly pushed in, but other than that the exterior is in good shape. It has the school inventory number written on the exterior in white permanent markerThere is no mouthpiece, nor any other accessories included.Please feel free to message me with any questions!Thanks again for looking!MPSlot4
