Today we are pleased to offer for sale a stunning set of 4 antique floral still life paintings!This exquisite set is of French or Italian origin, and very beautifully crafted and detailed. The octagon-form oil on canvas paintings are executed in the Dutch manner, with four separate still lives depicting lavish and colorful floral arrangements in silver vases, set against dramatic chiaroscuro backgrounds. The paintings are housed in bespoke coved gilt on gesso wood frames. The set has a tine-earned chippy patina and can be left as is, for a "faded grandeur" look, or slightly restored. The paintings will add luxurious style to any fine interior. The set is in good antique condition, with wear and patina commensurate with age. All paintings have various degrees of wear, with minor damage, repairs, crazing and darkening. The frames have scuffing, wear, loss to gilt, and corner wear, along with old repairs. The set is sold as-found so please review all photos before purchasing.Dimensions/ea: 13-5/8" in height, 13-1/4" in width, 1-1/4" in depth, painting is 9.5" by 9"
