Deep bass to intense tones from the 7 main strings, accompanied by the 12 sympathetic drone strings. The body and neck are hollow so the whole instrument originates sound. Mystical and wonderful. Remarkably simple to get and play-- just one melody string is really played on the frets and with just the best forefinger using a mizrab (an unique fingerpick, included). Easy to lose a sense of time with. Additional set of strings.
