I am offering a set of Tama Starclassic Maple drums in Marine Blue Fade done with gold hardware. These are the original variation Starclassics customizeded in Japan with the 9-ply maple shells, not the 6-ply. Immaculate, brand brand-new condition. The sizes are a bit special: 17x22 kick, 9x10 and 10x12 toms, 15x15 floor tom. I spent $2300 on these exquisite drums. I can not say enough excellent things about these drums. In my viewpoint Starclassic Maple is the cream of the crop in expert drums. I have actually possessed 3 sets of Starclassic Maples-- Violet Shade, Crimson Fade, and these. This set special bought from Maschinot Music in Newport, KY in January 1997. Being handmade in Japan, I didn't get them till late July of that very same year. I took them home, briefly played them and put them into storage. They are been essentially untouched since. Basically, you are not going to find a more stunning set of drums in my opinion. These just shriek sophisticated. The look of the gold hardware versus the glossy blue shells is lovely. And, naturally, they sound extraordinary. Great luck in discovering a classic set of Starclassic Maples in this condition once more. Images were taken both with and without flash in an attempt to finest show the color and condition.
