I have always been wary of audiophile tweaks and especially want no part of the expensive ones. If you’ve invested considerably in your components and need to spend additional 100’s or 1000’s of dollars to make them sound “better” than you’ve not purchased very well designed products. That being said the TDS sound enhancer version II is basically a passive gain device that will especially bring “magic” to a modest CD player,Blu-ray player or DAC. As soon as you flick the on switch you will immediately hear a startling gain in clarity and sound that will become addictive every time you use your connected component for playback. My reason for selling is not any dissatisfaction with the TDS but that I have adapted a back to basics purist approach to my playback on what are new and very expensive state of the art components. The TDS is very well built and should give a music lover years of pleasure.
