REG SIGER YE OLDE BELL & STEELYARD WOODBRIDGE SUFFOLK Original WatercolorReg Siger is a self-taught artist who exhibits his work mostly in East Anglia, UK. He specializes in depicting old cottages, farmhouses, and village and town scenes. His technique consists of a strong drawing executed with a brush and black waterproof ink which is then filled with acrylic paints.The Bell & Steelyard is a historic pub in Woodbridge Suffolk. As reported by the East Anglian Times in April of 2018, a lorry crashed into the weighbridge of the Ye Olde Bell and Steelyard in Woodbridge, smashing the structure to pieces. They reported at the time there were only two weigh bridges in the whole UK prior to this one's destruction.Signed Lower Left - "The Bell n Steelyard" "Woodbridge Suffolk"It should be noted the artist did not sign his initials on this particular work; however, the title as noted above was written in his hand, and this piece was acquired with two other watercolors (see our store) signed by him with his initials "RS".
