This auction is for a vintage Conn Model 6D Double French Horn. Serial number is C33471 and this dates it to 1963. Comes with the Bach 10 Mouthpiece and original Conn case. Check Ebays Shipping Calculator for cost. Normally it will cost around $20 to $50 for Fedex shipping to the lower United States. Worldwide Shipping also available through Ebays Global Shipping Program. This Horn is not the prettiest instrument because there are some dents and dings on the horn as you can see and the lacquer has a fair amount of wear and scratches. The bell has smoothed wrinkles and worn lacquer. The horn could use a complete cleaning and polishing to look and sound its best. The 4 valves all move properly and feel good when played. The tuning slides are all free and slide well. The Mouthpiece has some worn finish but still a good piece to use. The original case is in rough condition and shows its age. It has torn and worn covering and could use cleaning and one latch is missing. Look at the pictures carefully to see the condition and ask questions if needed.
