Vintage 1970 Martin D-35. Completely original, excellent + condition. This guitar was babied from the cradle right up to where she is today. Serial number is 270518. Back is 3-piece Indian rosewood; sides rosewood, fingerboard is ebony. Frets are excellent. Binding nicely yellowed and intact; finish checking on the top typical of a 54-year old vintage Martin. No issues structurally; intonation is good. Neck was recently professionally heat-straightened; a re-set was not required. No string buzzing; it’s just ready to play. Sound is big and balanced, with a strong bass as you would expect from a good Martin dreadnought. 70’s Martins have a reputation of being hit or miss; this one is a GOOD one. Selling because arthritis has taken over my hands, and I just can’t play like I used to. I have included a brief YouTube video sound demo; the iPhone audio will show clarity, but it does not hint at the rich tone quality of this guitar. I believe the hardshell case is original, not sure. Will insure, and will ship anywhere in the lower 48 US states. Reasonable offers considered. Will give a 7-day approval period on the instrument. Instrument’s condition is accurately reflected. If instrument is returned, recipient pays cost of the return, + 10% of sale price for handling
