This is all metal, strong and extremely sturdy, and has very pretty roses on the back and seat. I got this at an estate sale from the initial owner who had it sitting in enclosed porch since she bought it back in the 1980's, so it has actually NOT been out in the elements, no rust at all. Does have typical surface wear around the outside edges, but absolutely nothing above typical. Really rather leaf inlay on the metal too. Might be made use of outdoors, but you would want it under an awning or something since it would rust if damp. Perfect for a porch or entryway, really quite bench.
