This is a large original vintage (mid 20th century) brass coat rack hall tree with four double hooks at the top and sturdy coiled brass stand.Condition is very good. There is a dent in the post (shown in the photos) and one small decorative brass spindle has been replaced with a smooth copper tube on the base, but the repair is only cosmetic; it does not affect the stability or functionality of the piece. There are no cracks, repairs, or other major damage and the tree stands up straight. The entire piece is sturdy, solid, and fully functional and has acquired a naturally aged patina. The post easily separates in the middle and the legs unscrew, so it will be disassembled to reduce cost and risk of damage during shipping.The tree stands 73" tall and measures 8" square at the hooks on top and 19" square at the legs. All pieces will be packed securely and fully insured during shipping. Please provide a street address for shipping as this will not be delivered to a PO box.
